In todays lesson we learnt all about film language and the technical language film producers and directors would use. To help remember the film language we used acronyms.

MISE EN SCENE
C- costume

L- lighting (high key, low key, natural light)

A- actors

M- makeup

P- props

S- setting (place weather, time and date)

CAMERA
F- frame (close-up, extreme clos-up, medium shot, long shot, wide shot, landscape)

A- angle (high level, low level, worms eye, birds eye)  

M- movement, tracking panning, camera and tripod moving, static shot, zoom, whip pan, drone, helicopter shots, handheld)

SOUND
M- music

C- contrapuntal

D-diegetic/non diegetic  

O-off screen

V-voice over

E- editing  

D-dialogue

EDITING
S-screen time

T- transitions

O- Order of narrative

P- pace

E- special effects
